Marina Dock Reservations

We recommend reservations for moorage space, particularly during the busy summer months. We accept reservations via telephone, mail or email. During the summer season, we have a reservations telephone in the fuel dock so you can communicate directly with the dock attendants. In this way, you can let us know if you have special needs or requests, if you are a number of boats traveling together, or if you are part of a rendezvous group, so we can keep you close to your friends.

We ask that reservations be confirmed with a credit card via telephone. We do not charge your credit card prior to your arrival, and we will not charge it unless you fail to arrive, and also fail to notify us a day or more prior that you will not be arriving. We can only hold unsecured reservations up until one week prior to scheduled arrival.

If you are going to be late arriving, say after 4pm, please try and advise us ahead of time so we can anticipate your arrival and have an attendant there to assist you. We will do our best to provide the shorepower amperage you request, but we do not reserve shorepower outlets. They are on a first-come basis, so early arrivals will have more likelihood of their first choice.

  • Pub Phone (alternate)  250-246-3464
  • Fax: 250-246-1433
  • Email: marina@thetisisland.com

For reservations made by email or fax, please anticipate it may take a day to be confirmed, as this type of traffic is checked on a daily basis.

We try for same-day responses to email and faxes, but the fastest confirmation is still by telephone.

The normal checkout time for the marina is noon.

The best time for arrivals is therefore early afternoon, and this avoids those delays and temporary moves as boats from the previous day depart. It is very helpful if you can advise the dock attendant when arriving, how many nights you would like to stay, particularly if it is different from what you reserved for.

Should your plans change during your stay, just talk to the dock attendants and they will do their utmost to accommodate your needs and wishes.
